If you can get a nice rolling boil inside, that's fine. Or on the turkey fryer- whichever you prefer. Many people can't get more than a couple of gallons to boil on their stove, so they use a turkey fryer.

Would I be better off boiling my wort in the kitchen on a electric stove or outside on the turkey fryer?

The biggest issue with electric stoves is that some of them are "smart". They will not let the element get hot enough for a good rolling boil. My wife cans and the canning community does not recommend using electric stoves for this very reason.

I use a turkey fryer outside and it is great...clean-up is easier too outside with a hose..nobody cares where you are dripping :)

Last but not least...have fun!!!
