I do all-grain BIAB and I have been trying to make a quick and easy table to figure out how much strike and sparge water I need. I want to end up with 5.5g in the fermenter. Here is what I have come up with:

Constants
Headspace .25g
Grain Absorption .5g (I know this varies but this is usually what I get)
Boil Off 1g
Quart of water per Pound 1.5

Strike/Sparge Table
Code:
[B]Grain LB	Strike Water	Sparge Water[/B]
8 3 4.25
9 3.5 3.75
10 3.75 3.5
11 4 3.25
12 4.5 2.75
13 5 2.25

Example - 10 Pounds of Grain:
3.75g strike water
.5g grain absorption
.25g headspace
3.5g sparge
1g boil off

5.5 gallons into the fermenter

My absorption with BIAB was 0.11g/lb. of grain. Now with braid mash-tun it's 0.19. Don't forget boiloff is only part of the loss in the BK. Hop absorption and trub loss are part of it. I start with 6.75g. in the BK preboil to end up with 5.25 in fermenter. I had more hops Saturday and ended up short because I didn't up the preboil volume accordingly.
