I keep my brewing equipment in the garage and don't have a dedicated stand for it yet. Because of this, I end up moving my keggles around quite a bit to get to other things. I wanted to make sure to protect the camlocks but didn't want to shell out $5+ per cap. I came up with an extremely cheap and simple solution. Picked up one of those 4' "noodles" at the dollar store and hacked off a few pieces. Voila! Camlock protectors for less than $0.10 each. The foam is pretty thick and it's a nice snug fit over the camlock. I know it won't help with a major drop or anything but I'll feel better when I'm banging my keggles around.
