I'm a going to be brewing a Belgian black wit. A recipe I came up with mixing a few extract recipe kits I have done before. I question I had was when to add the lme the kits I have done being all different styles have had me add it either before the hop boil and also after the 60 min boil. Any advice I would like my first recipe come out great like the kits I have been brewing.

Any hopped extract should not be boiled.

Add half the extract at the start to isomerize the hops in, and then add the other half at the end. This will minimize darkening (probably not a problem in this beer), minimize caramelization of the extract, and improve hop utilization. There are no real rules on how much to add when.
