I took the keg apart to clean it and one connector has 2 pins, the other has 3 pins. Is there a difference between the 2? Is one for the gas and one for the beer? Thank you.

The first Cornelius kegs were produced in the 1950s - and indeed some of the kegs you'll find can be as much as 60 years old. Along with the accumulation of various stains, over time the rubbers oxidize. Don't sweat it if you can't get them bright black again, clean is good enough...

Cheers!

Ha, thanks. When I clean mine with a sponge, no matter how many times I wipe it... The sponge keeps getting dirty. After about 15 minutes I gave up.
