Anybody using these eBay SSRs?

I used 25 amp versions, they work fine.

I choose to use a different heatink for mounting purposes.
 
Correct, they are rated for 0 to 40 amps. If you are using one 5500 watt element, you will pull 22-23 amps.
 
I have 5 each of 25A and 40A of these Mager units, they are also what ECC (makers of the BCS460/462) sells, have not done any long term testing, but seem to work fine.. I have some Crydom units but really don't like them not having a LED like the Mager's.

I think the heatsinks I have are the same as those, and they are pretty beefy..
 
I use these and havent had a failure yet. They are cheap, so I bought a few extras. I use them with 5500W elements. The LED is a nice feature, especially when adjusting the ON/OFF cycle using a BCS-460.

FYI, it took me 16 days to receive the SSR order, since they come directly from asia.
