red wine colour?

hello everyone,my question is my must made from merlot grapes looks quite pinkish and opaque in the secondary ,will it get darker as it ages and clears?
I crushed the grapes and left them for only 3 days in the primary before pressing it and racking to my secondary (demijohn).
i hope i didnt just make a rose...
 
I'm no expert, but I would think that for most reds you leave them on the skins for about 7 days or so. You're stuck with the color, it will not darken.
