Hey guys, so I added my bottling sugars after transferring to my bottling bucket tonight and then couldn't find someone to help me bottle. Is it ok if I bottle tomorrow?

Thanks for any help!!

It's certainly OK to bottle later, just keep in mind that the yeast is going to start fermenting the sugar you've added. It might be worth it to wait a few days (to a week) to be sure the sugars have fermented out, then add a full dose of new priming sugar and bottle. That would be the safest way to proceed.

Could I just add a little extra sugars and then bottle this afternoon?

The problem is you don't know how much of your bottling sugar has fermented out. You could end up with over or under carbed beer. I would go with Bigbeergeeks suggestion.

Could this be figured out through a hydrometer reading and the amount of bottling sugars I put in?
