Just wanted to test/clear the air about mulberries. This one came out quite well. Looks amber in the pics but has a faint purple to it. Only a hint of fruit, perfect for me. The berries added a little bitterness to it; thought the OG tasted VERY bitter, but settled down after bottling. Hope I formatted the recipe ok for you guys.

I'm interested in how this came out. I'm thinking of doing an AG light wheat and I thought the mulberry addition would be nice. Have you done any other experiments with this or was it a one time trial?
Did you get any of the residule sweetness from the berries or did it all ferment out.

Sorry to answer so late. There was no residual sweetness. The berries made it quite sour. I tried basically a Hefe with the berries before, but it wasn't that good. This one was drinkable but needs a lot of tweaking. I have since moved and do not have a mulberry tree out back any more! If I would try it again, I probably would not use wheat. Let me know if you experiment.
