how does my Munich dunkel recipe look??

120.00 oz wyermann amber Liquid Extract
8.00 oz Munich Malt
6.00 oz Carafa I
4.00 oz Melanoiden Malt
3.50 oz de-bittered black
1.25 oz Tettnang [4.30 %] 60 min
0.50 oz Tettnang [4.30 %] 20 min
1.00 oz Hallertauer [4.40 %] 6 min
Whirlfloc Tablet Boil 15.0 min
Munich Lager yeast (Wyeast Labs #2308)

this is using a 4.5 gallon boil

looking at brewing this weekend.

You do realize that the Munich and Melanoiden should be mashed? This is a style that is hard to brew with extract. If you can get Munich extract it would be better than amber. Dunkels generally don't get late hop additions. I brewed one with only Munich and a touch of Carafa II.

I guess I am not going that way then.

I tried to find the BAVARIAN DUNKEL extract from weyerman but to no avail.

I already have the amber but picking up the grains tomorrow

which direction should i go then?

That amber may be the best way. I looked it up and found out that it's 100% Munich. I've only seen the Munich extract at Austin Homebrew Supply. It's 40% Munich and 60% two-row.
