Near my patio where I cook my wort, we have an herb garden. Lavender was in bloom, so I culled out about .2 oz of fresh lavender flower and leaves and put it in during the last 5 minutes of an AG IPA. I just transferred it to the secondary and drank the contents of the hydrometer glass. It has a bit of the lavender smell, but none of the taste (probably for the best). I think I'll like it.
 
My lady loves lavender, but hates IPAs. Actually, anything bitter. So, maybe a Wheat or a cider.
