Well... we were doing the Hopstache Black IPA and at the end, we started chilling... a bunch of bubbles started coming up and I was like what the hell!!! pulled the chiller out and SPRAY!!!!! I guess the SS chiller had was in two pieces and it came apart...luckily we were right there, otherwise I could see that turning our very bad... lol...
 
Good catch. You would've been like- I think the hydrometer is on the fritz, wait the carboy shrank, ummm .. Is that chiller thinking about being an oxygenator prematurely? That made me laugh, I woke this morning after going out and put water in the coffee maker twice. Lots of colored water everywhere but no coffee.
