Ok so I just racked my blackberry wine from my 6 gallon carboy, so now i have a free carboy and i want to start something else!

im thinking about something simple like a cider from bottled juice or concentrate. just not apple! i was looking at the store and theres cranberry and all kinds of others. my question is, can i make a cider almost like the apfelwein or any other basic cider out of almost any juice at the store?

probably lookin at :
-motrachet yeast (i have a lot)
-juice
-maybe sugar to get it to about 6% potential

any thoughts are appreciated!

Straight cranberry will be very tart. I made a batch using 40% cran cocktail and 60% apple juice and it's still pretty tart. I prefer straight apfelwein to my "cranfelwein". YMMV.
