I pitched the yeast saturday. Krausen started to develope early sunday morning and fermentation was going strong with an inch thick krausen by sunday night. now the krausen bubbles are bigger and there are streamers where it looks like the krausen is falling back into the beer. or is it roots?

Looks like good healthy fermentation to me. The "streamers" appear to be yeast falling out after doing their job.

Congrats you have a happy healthy baby beer there. Remember to love it and cherish till its gone then make another!

I would be worried that it could be a perfect ferment. My question is what temp did you pitch?

I pitched at 68°F and it has been right around there +/- 2°

Looks like you have a good beer going! That's how my first brew looked and it's turning out great!
