I was going to add some Irish Moss to the Oatmeal Stout I brewed today but totally forgot. Can I add something when I rack to a secondary in a week? or should I not even worry about it.

Cheers!!! :mug:

I say save it for another day. I think it can be added to secondary. But, what difference does it make if a stout is clear? If you are worried about it you could use gelatin, search a lot of people do it.

Dont worry about it, irish moss is to help percipitate the small proteins which are a part of chill haze....which one should not worry about with a dark beer.

Don't worry about it. It won't matter in a stout since you won't be able to see through it anyways.

If you are concerned use isenglass in the secondary. Personally I would take the advise of all the others and just forget it altogether.
