Except this.

Has anyone found a recipe for the long shot winner Boysenberry wheat beer?

I would love to replicate this beer.

Sorry I can't help with the recipe. I'll keep an eye here in case that recipe shows up.

But for the record, I like fruit beer. Mainly the berry types.

Have you tried the Sam Adams long shot winner? It reminds me of strawberry shasta, only, not. It is a very odd beer and i wish i had a case of it with out havnig to buy the old ale and the dortmunder that won as well.

That sounds delicious. I'll have to try making a boysenberry hefe when they are in season.

From the Jan/Feb Zymurgy (recipe is weird [using tablespoons of hops instead of oz. etc] but thats how it is in the mag). Looks pretty simple too:

6.0lb United Canadian Wheat Extract (??)
1T Hallartau Hop Pellets 4.75%AA 55Min
1.5T Hallarta Hop Pellets 0 Min
2oz. Cellar Pro Boysenberry Natural Fruit Flavoring (added with corn sugar at bottling)
No mention of yeast used
