I just signed on on found this news story...Could you imagine getting a 1/5 of this stuff...Must be Amazing!!! Yeah Id make a few Whiskey and Cokes...lol...Or even fill an airlock...Ummm Yeah Right...Id probably get a super nice leaded Crystal Rock Glass...lol

I wonder what long term freezing does to whisky. You know it was frozen solid for much of the year.

At first I thought this ridiculous, but after a quick googling, I found that 80 proof liquor freezes at about -13F. I did not know. I figured it would have to be much colder.

This is actually pretty damn cool. I also would wonder if the freezing could distort the flavor. either way this can make for a very enjoyable experience and doubles as a land mark in history.
