Wife bought a 50# bag for the chickens. I am looking at this crushed grain thinking maybe I could use this as an adjunct in a recipe. Any ideas?:mug:

Just remember, unlike flaked corn, cracked has to be cooked before mashing. If it's a flint-type, you may also get more hot break from the extra protein.

Corn is also good to lighten a pale for summer drinking. Swap out about 20% of the base grain.

I've used it in the Cream of 3 Crops recipe a couple of times. Do a cereal mash and go. I think it tastes great and the corn comes right through!

Cheers!
