So I've been looking to make some hard cider, and i was wondering, where the heck are you getting the apple juice from? I live in Silicon Valley in California.

Can anyone point me to a good resource for bulk quantities of apple juice locally?

Thanks all!

if you're just looking for apple juice almost anything you find in the store is preserved with ascorbic acid...which is fine to ferment. If you're feeling snooty you can get organic stuff from a thousand places in SV but you'll pay a LOT more.

hmm so any old apple juice works? if that's the case, can anyone recommend a brand to start off with?
