Carbonation time if using DME

I am making a clone of Samuel Smith Winter Welcome. The recipe calls for using DME as the priming sugar. This is the first time that I have used DME for the priming sugar. I have read that it takes longer for the carbonation to build up using DME. Does anyone know how long it should take?
