Pressure of CO2 tank inside fridge

If I have the CO2 tank and regulator in a fridge at ~40F, is it's pressure supposed to drop on the regulator? At room temperature, my CO2 regulator shows the CO2 tank in the "FULL" area of the regulator. However in the fridge, it's well below (and I haven't used much of it yet).
 
Yes, don't be surprised if you are at or below 600 psi in the fridge.

Also, that gauge is not a very good indicator of how much C02 you have left. Once it starts to drop, you're basically out.
 
I asked the same question a few days ago. Mine stopped at about 500psi and is holding steady, not to worry.
