Pid error message driving me crazy!!!!

This error basically means that the controller "thinks" that its output be it heat or cooling, is not working because the system does not seem to be responding fast enough to the controllers output of heat or cooling, you need in to increase the PID cycle time to next highest setting until this error goes away. Omega controllers typically defualt to something like 15 seconds for the system to see a delta in temp.
 
Could be an input error:
If it's a 2-wire RTD a jumper between terminals 3-4. If it's a 3-wire RTD the 2 wires of the same color go between terminals 3-4. The lone color wire goes on terminal 1. Check resistance of RTD.
What kind of output is it? 4-20MA, AC Triac, etc. Only a current output can detect an open loop. Above response is valid if using PID mode. Has no effect if in Ramp/Soak mode.
