I have been using a hydrometer for a while and am familiar with its use and function. Today was the first day I actually read the piece of paper that was in the new one I just bought. Tile is hard on glass instruments.
Anyway, the paper said the "Neither Wine or Beer should be bottled until the SG reading is below 1.006 or the bottle may burst".
Is this just CYA or what ? I cant remember the last time I hit 1.006 or lower unless I was making near beer.
