I just made a Cherry Ale with cherry pie filling in the primary and whole pitted cherries in the secondary. It has a kinda metalic taste not very strong but it is there still. Could this come from the cherry pie filling out of a can or canned cherries? never had this taste in any beer?

Any thought on the metalic taste.
