Just having a nostalgic chat with friends and thought back to my college drinking days back on the other side of the Atlantic ... and got a craving for Robinson's Old Tom (http://www.ratebeer.com/beer/robinsons-old-tom-cask/44577/)

I'm not so sure I could clone it myself with my limited experience and only a 20 year old memory to go by ... anyone else have more of a clue?

do you have the setup to make a cask conditioned ale? Read up on cask conditioned ales if you have the setup you can do anything.

Yes, I can cask condition this (in a corny keg) and have almost enough patience to give it the time it needs. I was more wondering about the recipe - should I go for a slightly gentler barley wine? Any insight into what makes Old Tom so good?
