Nevermind... i just noticed that it cuts off at 45*F. It is thermostatically controlled.

Darn...

I like the E-system idea, but would rather find a ready-made product that is UL listed. Maybe a 1000 watt bucket heater???

I used a bucket heater for years to heat up water. I don't think it has enough power to boil with. You might need 2 or 3, but that would make me nervous.

Why does that make you nervous? I don't think the elements would touch. The SS guard is there to keep elements off anything else.

If I bought (4). (2) for each keggle, I would be spending $250 shipped. That is a bit much. I bet I could buy a LOT of heat stick equipment for that amount! hmmmm....
