Bought two slap packs of american ale yeast one week ago, came home and brewed that day, used one pack then managed to forget to refrigerate the other one. Its been sitting in my living room at around 68 degrees for a week. Is this slap pack still good? I'd like to save the 6 or 7 bucks I spent but don't know if it is worth it. It looks a little inflated. Thanks for the help.

I will take that advice for sure. Should I put it in the fridge now or keep it at the same temp? I plan to brew Friday

Make the starter either tonight or tomorrow and pitch it in... If it goes to town, then you're fine... If it does nothing by late Thursday, plan on getting a new pack of yeast on Friday and move your brew day back so that you can use the starter for the new pack of yeast.
