8 Gallon Conical

I have one of those, seems to work fine. I have noticed the lid doesn't really seal so an airlock is rather pointless.
 
At $350 for eight gallons, I know that I will never have one!
So what's the big advantage to a conical that makes it worth all that money?

There is some advantage to harvesting yeast and perhaps introducing some CO2 and/or O2 (early on), but...don't know that I would spend the money, either. Now, if I were to be given a conical...

There's CIP (clean in place) options, they are stainless and easy to sanitize, you can pressurize them for transfers, harvest yeast, drop trub and then secondary in the same vessel (i.e. drop trub and dryhop without yeast), etc.
