Thanks in large part to all the advice and recommendations from HBTers (I've logged A LOT of hours reading threads), my first batch is coming out great. It's only been bottled for one week, after two on primary. It's an APA w/ Glacier hops. I tried it today knowing it hasn't been in bottle long enough, but I want to get an understanding of what it's like at different parts of the process. Same reason I sample it when taking gravity readings. Much to my surprise, it tastes like I just took it home from a local brewery. Aroma: excellent, color: excellent, taste: slightly green but otherwise excellent, carbonation: perfect, head: very good. Apparently the guys at Strange Brew in Marlboro put together a damn good kit.

I'm so happy right now. The world is perfect. It's a good feeling.

Cheers everyone! :mug:

Part of it is a good kit and part of it is good brewing. Congrats on studying up before brewing and making a good beer your 1st batch! They're only getting better from here.
