A buddy mentioned he is bringing in a some empty bottles for me and also has some wine cooler bottles he will include.
Anyone use wine cooler bottles for bottling in the past?
Thanks

are wine coolers carbonated? i dunno, i've never felt the need to sip girly drinks....but if they aren't then I definitely woudl not use them as the bottles are probably not made to hold carbonation.

if they are, I would try to use one for bottling, and I would wrap that one in a plastic bag and put it somewhere safe to see if it will indeed stand up to carbonating beer.

I've never seen a pop-top wine cooler bottle. They all cheap, thin walled, clear glass twist-offs.

Yes the are carbed, but I agreee, I did not think they were pop tops. I'll be interested in seeing what these look like.
