This may be a dumb question but I can't figure it out. I am making a fruit beer recipe in BeerSmith, but I cannot figure out to make the step-by-step instructions read that I wish to add the fruit to the secondary fermenter after primary. Does anyone know how to do this?

After the item is added to your ingredients list, double click it. This will open the info for the item, then go to Use In and change to Secondary.

EDIT: Whoops I don't have Beersmith2. That's the old one. Nevermind.

Yeah, you would think that would work but BeerSmith2 doesn't have a "Use In" section. :/

I figured it out. If anyone is curious, I had to add the fruit myself and not use the ingredient from the available ingredients list. When adding your own custom ingredient it gives you the option to put when you use it (eg. Secondary).
