i haven't brewed anything in almost a year, but dammit, i miss my homebrews. i wanna show my girlfriend the process, plus i'm rusty as hell, so i just picked up a Blonde kit from our brewer's outpost.

only things i think i'm gonna add are lemon extract (possibly 3:1 lemon ex to orange ex) and some fresh ginger. I made an incredible spiced Irish red last year, so i'm not really shy about spices or extracts, but damned if i can't remember when to add the stuff. Help would be appreciated :D thanks!

by the way, i just joined this forum, and the community seems awesome, so well done, you guys.

I’m still really green so take it for what it’s worth but I’d say the final 10 minutes would be a safe bet. You’ll get good flavors without boiling them off.

thanks man, i've heard right before bottling, too (for the ginger). come on, weekend.
