A friend of mine and I traveled to Newfoundland this past summer and we fell in love with Black Horse Lager.
Does any one know of a clone recipe?
I'm not finding anything on Google.

While this beer is great, but I don't see visiting The Rock again for a few years at least. :-(

Thanks.
Matt

PS: Everyone needs to go to Newfoundland...and not just St John's. Simply awesome.

From the small amount of info I can find it sounds like a pale "macro/adjunct" lager. Probably the hardest style to clone since the differences between the different examples are some small. Try finding a good clone recipe for Molson (since they brew Black Horse) and brew it. You can adjust your recipe from there based on how it turns out. Having temp controlled fermentation is a must for doing lagers. Good luck, and welcome to the site.
