I had a stange occurence Monday night- after my first AG batch. I converted from propane to heatsticks this winter. In my trial runs on the system, the JB weld stayed gray. After the brew session, while I was cleaning, I noticed the JB Weld that was in the wort changed color to a dark green color. I thought it was some hop pellet material stuck to the stick, but it didn't wash off. Anyone else encounter a color change with JB Weld? The wort smelled and tasted fine (no off flavors, smells, etc). RDWHAHB?

How can you see jbweld? Mines 100% inside the stick as are all I've seen...

Some of mine bled out at the joints. I didn't clean it off, read somewhere (i'm guessing one of the gajillion posts on heat sticks) that it was okay to be in contact w/ the wort.
