I am considering using my garage fridge as a kegerator. However, I would like to retain some space for other items. Would I be able to place a 1/6 sanke keg on its side and still serve? Thanks!

Nevermind. Found the answer on another forum. Sounds like the answer is a big NO.

Sankes wouldn't work because of the center spear.

I thought about doing this with some cornies though. For those, it seems like it would work if you have the gas in port at 12 o'clock, the bev out at 6 o'clock and bend the bev dip tube to the bottom edge (instead of bottom center).

Anyone ever serve from cornies laying on their side?
