I'm going to start gathering hardware for a kegorator build that swmbo just approved. Her only request is that it's ss so it matches the rest of the kitchen. This also needs to be fit for homebrew on one tap and the cheap domestic stuff for some friends on another tap. Does this look like a complete list or am I missing anything?

The refrigerator- where are my best options?
5lb CO2 tank
Double gauge regulator
2 couplers (?)- need a lot of help here
Hoses (2 beer lines, 2 air lines)
Tower
2 faucets
Fiber washer
2 neoprene washers
Faucet knobs
and a cleaning kit

Can anyone think of anything else I might need or give some advise on the parts?

I can't really advise on the parts but I'd say put what you like on both taps and if your friends don't like one or the other send them out to the liquor store for some Bud Light at their expense. And make sure they take them all when they leave!!!!! Even the bottles will be of no use - twist tops...

My opinion only: go to www.kegconnection.com and buy a 2 faucet premium fridge kit. The got to Home Depot or Lowes and buy a 5.0 or 7.2 cuft freezer. With these items in hand you are all set to build a keezer :mug:

in addition to your list you'll need two shank assemblies. make sure your beer line is 3/16". I also highly recommend the perlick ss taps

Thanks heckels. Is there much difference with ss or brass faucet?

I can't do a keezer, Chap. It's got to be small enough to fit in the kitchen.

I bought the refrigerator below on craigslist for $50.00. It was in Fall River. Added a single tap tower I got on Ebay for $50.00. Ball lock fittings from local brew supplier for $12.00. 3/16" X 6' liquid thick wall hose, and 1/4" x 4' gas thick wall hose from LBS, Double gauges from harbour freight tools $30.00 minus 20% with coupon. 20# CO2 bottle from harbour freight for $85 minus 20% coupon. I agree with previuos post, screw the commercial beer. Friends are on their own. This "beer snob" drinks his own on tap. They can keep drinking their Buds.
