Anyone have one of these? I couldn't find any info about the make up of the pump head to see if it is bad for brewing or winemaking.

No spec on the maximum operating temp plus it having check valves I bet it will collect grain particles and crap that may reduce the output.
If a diaphragm pump were a better solution vs magnetic drives brewers would of be all over them long ago.
 
I have an Aquatec for my RO system to boost water pressure. It's a good pump. The one you are looking at is 230 volts - just in case you didn't notice. Doubt it can handle the high temps but might be useful in transferring cool liquids. Might be worth a shot if you can steal it at a low price.
