Top five favorite beers

I know we've done something similar to this before, but I can't find the thread. Plus mine change as often as my underwear. This week, here are my favorites.

(when thinking about this, think of the 5 you'd take with you if you were stranded on an island for a couple years, and could not live without.)

1. Hop Rod Rye
2. Sierra Nevada Celebration Ale
3. My Pliny The Bastid clone
4. Draught Guinness
5. Loose Cannon

3- Sierra Nevada Celebration Ale
4- Spatan Oktoberfest (it is the season)

Figure out how to get a bottle of you SNPA clone to my doorstep, and a bottle of my Pliny may find its way to yours.

I had no idea you liked SNCA so much.

I take it all the "reflecting" you did with your porter today helped you come to the conclusion of making it #1 on your list. Cool.

One of my all time favorites is Dude's Pliny the Bastid, but I figured I'd stick to commercial for my list. So, you're headed to the USPS, huh?

I think I'm going to have to try this Sierra Nevada Celebration Ale if so many people list it in their top five. Is this like an Oktoberfest?

Its a hoppy mofo. SNPA on steroids.

Has anyone checked out SN's web page for the Celebration Ale. I love the quote from the newspaper. Something like, "Celebration Ale is the best beer ever made in America." Nothing like a superlative statement! I won't go that far, but it is one amazing beer, or at least I remember it that way.
