anybody have a good recipe for an American amber/red ale, that has a good malty profile with a nice hop nose?? need something to contrast my Wee Heavy.

here's kinda what i came up with:
10.5 lbs 2 row
.5 lb crytsal 30
1 lb crystal 75
.5 lb munich
.5 carapils
.66 oz chinook @ 60
.5 oz centennial @ 15
.5 oz centennial @ 0
1 oz centennial dry hop
Wyeast Northwest Ale yeast

looked at some commercial examples (Rouge St. Rouge Red) to try and get a pronounced malty profile.

well, i've got mine that's almost gone, and i want a hoppy beer to contrast my low IBU wee heavy that'll replace my fat tire tap. my esb will be out when another is ready, so i'm gonna do your Fat Tire clone for sure. soon.
