Cherry Ale AG

My girl really likes commercial cherry Kriek. Now I don't have the experience to actually brew a Lambic, but I want to make a nice malty cherry ale. She really likes the caramel flavors in some of my homebrew, so I want that to come out too.

Here's my recipe so far (5 gallons):

8# Maris Otter 2-row
1# Honey Malt
1# Crystal 60L
1# Crystal 120L
1.5oz Williamette @ 60min
0.5oz Williamette @ 0min

After 3 weeks, rack onto 5lbs thawed frozen cherries in secondary.

Thoughts? I'm unsure about the hops especially.

What kind of Cherries? You have Tart or Sweet... So think about what flavor you're going for when you chose.

Every recipe I can find suggests tart cherries, so probably those.
