I input my info into Recipator.com then cut and paste it into a WORD.doc to save it. Then it's placed in a doc protector and into the binder.

Get some brewing s/w. It's really the way to go. I use beersmith and really like it. Before I started using beersmith I had all of my recipes entered in Word document with embedded charts for IBU and efficiency calculations. I can give that to you if you want. I do use brewing software. It's good stuff. However, I also write out my recipes.

When people see my handwritten brewlog they think I have a lot of stuff in my head. But when they see the brewing software, they assume the computer does all the work.


So I say keep the recipes written down for public viewing and keep the brewing software in the same hidden nondescript security-locked file in which you hide your porn!!! Of course, that's just my $0.02
