... of course I want to brew its clone at home.
It was a sweet amber, available only in the late fall and winter. It had a name like "holiday ale" or "festival ale" or something similar, and was made by one of the numerous NW microbreweries. Possibly MacTarnahan's or Oregon breweries.
I think I last had it in 2007, and it came out from about 2004 to 2007, maybe skipping a year, 3-4 years total.
Best hint: it had pictures of elves or whatnot, sort of "Lord of the Rings" movie-style, playing the fiddle and partying, some sort of Yule celebration.
Can anyone remember the name, and suggest a recipe for cloning?
