Hello everyone! On page 66 of the Nov. issue there was an article about combustion that was interesting, but that isn't what caught my eye. The picture in the article shows a march pump directly attached to a quick disconnect and the attached to the kettle/HLT. Most setups use the following: vessel--hose--pump--hose--vessel. This setup eliminates one of the hoses. Anyone use this method? Is it hard to prime without the pump being lower than the bottle of the vessel?
 
Note that they are using a Brass headed pump. I would not try that with the plastic one.
 
I saw the pic too, Not sure I'd try it but was an interesting idea none the less...
