Coolest glass ever

So SWMBO and I exchanged presents today since I will be won't be able to be around on Christmas and she got me this:



I'm a chemist by trade, so I thought this was the coolest thing ever. Here it is with 1 12 oz beer in it:



It's barely half full, so I think I can just fit two in there. This is definitely going to increase my beer consumption. She also got me this, which I'll be using for all my German beers. It's made in Germany and is really nice.

As a fellow geek I salute you and your SWOMBO!!!! Excellent gift. Is it as fragile as most beakers or is it thicker glass?

The glass is about the same thickness as a real lab beaker. I will have to be careful with it.

Nice stein! I have an authentic German one as well, they're so sweet. I've never drank out of mine though, I should probably get on that.
