Any ideas on shredding leaf hops so they don't get stuck in the pump (March 809)? I can't get pellet hops around here.

I've blended the hops into dust but that is to fine a material and it takes to long for the wort to clear up after cooling it.

Why did I not think of that my self .

It just makes me worry about hop utilisation. Especially the finishing hop, but I suppose I can just ad finishing hop 5 min before flame off instead of at 0 min ?

Use a large bag so they have room to steep, and If you are really concerned about the finish, save them and dry hop your secondary; I really recommend it. Love how it finishes my beers
