The second one hands down. I have used both. I used the first one (smaller) for about 1/2 year. It was definitely adequate, but have been using 2 of the burners on my stand that are in your second link. The second burner heats soooo much more quickly than the old one did. Durability is about the same probably. The second one will spread the flame out more, providing more even heat and will heat faster.

I brew 10 gallon batches, which often requires boiling 13-14 gallons at the beginning of my boil. This burner gets it rolling within 10-15 min. 5 gallon batches... forget it... smokes it!
 
thanks for the opinion. i was wondering what made the first one high pressure, and if that is better or not? i guess ill go with the 2nd one then
