How long is iodophoe good for once mixed to appropriate levels?

I usually fill up a little spray bottle I use to sanitize my bucket alongside my larger filled bucket I dump all of my equipment into.

I was just curious if I could have the spray bottle sit around filled with iodophor or if it goes "bad".

I hate having to mix a new sanitizing solution everytime I want to take a gravity reading, etc.

I've had it sealed in a spray bottle with distilled water last a few weeks, it loses it's straw color when it looses it's effectiveness. (So I make it a little stronger) But anything open I just make fresh.

Thanks Revvy, that makes sense. It just has started to become a real pain, but I guess I could scale down the ratio to make much smaller batches.
