How do you clean all the crap out of your blow off tubing? I know vinyl tubing is cheap but I'd rather not have to buy a new 2 ft every brew if possible...I've chucked the last couple because the is always krausen left in there...and once soaking in PBW turned it all opaque and yellow so I chucked that also

I use a rigid piece of wire with a little piece of a rag tied to the end as a tube cleaner. I dip it in oxiclean, and pull it through. After doing this a few times; rinse with really hot water, and done!

Mine is 3/8 tubing too. I have lots of misc. wire, since I am a home remodeler. A coat hanger would probably work just fine as long as it's longer than the tube.
When you graduate to 1" ID blow-off tubing they actually sell a 4' long brush for that...
