Have a starter for a beer that I made about a week ago in the fridge. Wasn't planning on brewing tomorrow but my day now allows me to. Took the starter out and have been swirling ect. Do I need to do anything special to it?

Is this starter one that you refrigerated and poured the extra liquid out of?
If it is I would boil up some water and some DME and get it started again.
You can just pitch it, but I always like to see the little guys getting active first.

No didn't pour anything out. Pulled it out last night and it's been sitting out all night. It seems like it restarted itself new Krausen layer

It sounds like they yeast answered your question then!

Beer has only been in primary for three hours and already needed a blowoff tube
