Which is the best brew kettle to use! Is SS best? is aluminum ok to use? how about enameled steel? I am in the market to get started and what to know which I should use. I know that SS is probably best but not very cost effective.

Any of those will work well. Enameled steel you will want to watch for chipping, once it does you will need to replace it. If you want info on stainless vs aluminum do a search, it has been discussed ad nauseam.

And welcome to HBT! :mug:

I finally took the plunge and bought a turkey fryer-found one with a stainless pot.

Turkey fryers are the way to go. You get a big pot, and a kickass burner with it! Mine is right at 90,000 BTU's...sounds like a jet is taking off in my garage at full speed. Single greatest thing I've purchased for my brewing yet!
